Meshing/Cheating

Meshing and cheating is a broad category of exploitation in the game, we will break it down into categories.

Meshed Bases

These are entire bases built behind the mesh, they usually have no way to get in without either a teleporter or using a Fjordhawk to transport items in and out. Should a base like this be found, the following should be done:

• The entire tribe should be wiped

• All members that aren't in the discord (and have less than 30 days playtime) should be given a 24 hour warning via DM to join the discord, link their account, open a ticket and read the rules or be banned.

• All members that have a linked account are to be banned, they should know better.

Meshed Sleeping Bags

These are sleeping bags (or foundations with beds on them) that are behind the terrain on a map, usually these are just "attempts" to get into the mesh but may or may not have gone anywhere of significance. Should one of these bags be found, the following should be done:

• If the owner of the bag isn't in discord, they should be given a 24 hour warning via DM saying they need to link their account and read the rules or be banned. They should also receive an official warning if they do.

• If the player is in Discord their VC balance and ark data will be deleted and they will receive a one-time warning

Meshed Turrets

Meshed turrets are usually placed behind the mesh so that they can shoot players but players cannot shoot them back or reach them. This should be handled just like the meshed sleeping bags procedure above.
